17 MARCH 2011 

today was absolutely amazing. woke up at 8 to meet fatteh at 9 cos' we're going to the beach. was pretty glum because it was raining (and still was when we met), but we made our way to vivo nonetheless. had breakfast, got food and we left for sentosa. the rain stopped thereafter but the sky remained pretty cloudy, and then progressed to a pathetic drizzle. i think going barefoot on sand is one of the best things when you go to the beach. sat, ate, and took a lot, a lot of polaroids (because 100 films came on monday). sort-of-artsy shots, fun shots... everything luh k. there's a lot of photos so i'm just gonna abruptly page-break here:

 

billabong and universal studios afterwards. we didn't enter cos' we're pretty poor. at this point i was still barefoot because a. my feet were still sandy and i wore shoes that day and b. walking barefoot is awesome. oh, AND I GOT 2 SINGLETS FROM CO; thoroughly proud of myself cos' they only cost 10 bucks. wow. unimportant events aside, went back to my house to watch moviesssssssss. No Strings Attached was pretty good. i thought it was a sweet take on love and for once, the female's the one with the issues rather than the stereotyped male. oh, i got 4 dvds at vivo at 20 bucks (Date Night, Push, Dear John, Valentines Day). all romantic comedies sans Push. it was already kinda late after the first movie so we settled with Date Night instead, which happens to be the only one out of the rest that i've watched. still, it was a good laugh.

so that's it, my awesome thursday.

current wants:

1. white trainers, preferable Adidas Stan Smiths. tired of Sambas,
2. more singlets, which Singapore never seems to offer despite the perfect climate to wear them. guess i can only get them from awesome australia,
3. shorts (ocean blue, black, white, navy, red[?], tree-green [?]), probably from CO, but any nice pairs will do,
4. jeans (i'm finally growing up!). still a shorts person but a pair of light blue denims would be nice,
5. chinos. i've always wanted to try wearing them,
6. a white shirt, because i think it looks great with anything, shorts or jeans or anything,
7. polos (but not really). only a rare select are nice, which are usually those i cannot afford (i am
8.blue/turquoise/light green converses,
(this is more of a need) white & black basics.

wow, i am a frivolous, possibly avaricious and materialistic individual.
