He brings princes to naught, and reduces the rulers of this world to nothing

The week was superb, been to amore thrice (still tryna' hit 5 times a week) and went out thrice. i'm dead set on going there 5 times a week to workout and improve ma' health. HAD ALSO BEEN ABSTAINING FOR FAST FOOD (defers to subway), which has been successful thus far despite the cravings for a McSpicy, and eating health-ier food on a constant basis, especially after every amore session where I get salad and sometimes sushi. I think this is gonna play out really well so yeah.

"these are hard times for dreamers like us"

"i've had enough, really, you've got to stop building these fucking castles around you that's blocking everyone but you and your childish dreams out."

i said nothing. i took by bag and opened the door, and said before i left:

"you say i'm a dreamer. but what's so wrong with that? what is so wrong with believing? at least i have something to go on with, unlike you and your pathetic vacuous soul. you know something? these are hard times for dreamers like me. but i'd do anything to know that i can wake up with a reason to breathe every single day of my life."

bad decisions make good stories

AND WE TIE-DYED:

So Diz Waz Ma Wick:

actually my week was pretty uneventful (save the couple of days towards the end), but i got addicted to typing like ^ coz it so kewl lik3 dat.

it would be really crappy to write everything in point-number form so i'm gonna try to paragraph them. got to learn how to write succinctly so here's it.

page-break starts here cos it's really long:

it's too late, it's too late.

Gonna follow up Fat and my face-painting with that.

i think i'll try churning out a sizeable post at least once a week.
i think i'll do the highlights:
  1. CAUGHT 'THE TRIANGLE' WITH ETHEL AND KAEDE. Awesome, Confusing (leaves you wondering) and difficult to recount the plot to others cos' of it's complicated plot-presentation
  2. WATCHED 'JUST GO WITH IT' WITH BALL AND ETHEL. wanted to watch The Rite but Ball was too scared and GV's air-con broke down.
  3. WENT TO AMORE AFTER THAT. I thought that was a huge achievement - a step towards not needing a partner to have confidence. i think that's self-confidence.
  4. DID 5 NAPFA STATIONS. and i was proud of myself because i thought i would do badly/fail most of the stations, which i did not and even got an A for some.
  5. WENT TO TOWN W/ ETHEL, KAEDE AND CHU. It was awesome cos' all 4 of us were easily amused at everything, everything. and we got v'day gifts! seriously, never really the giver on v'day but i love how my class is so hyped up about it.

and then the weekly woes:

CA1 week starts tomorrow. i don't know why but it's so difficult to study for all the subjects except Math and Lit. With Math, there's a 'fixed' structure, which i really like cos' you just have to do revision and such. With Lit, there's a largely flexible structure, which i really like as well cos' you don't need to study anything specific, just the important skills needed to create an essay.

BUT THEN THERE'S GEOG AND ECONS. it's slightly fixed yet flexible. and i don't know what's up with that because i don't get it. i get the concepts but the questions we have are so unstructured and shittttttt.  owell, life.

i would rather all subjects in my timetable be changed to lit cos' that'd be so much fun (for a short while).

HEY LOOK, AN AWESOME SONG COUPLED WITH AN AWESOME VIDEO:

i'm gonna go slog it up on the books. kbye.

S/S 11

FRANKIE MORELLO'S AND DSQUARED'S S/S 11'S SUPER GOOD.
youtube/google if you don't get it.
i think only the me since last year can appreciate it.

I don't get Vivienne Westwood's and CK's collection though.
but that might just be me.

---

i spent the day trying to finish Remains of the Day. it was insanely dreary at the start but i wiki-ed it (without reading the plot) and found out it's significance (which is apparently categorized under: State of the Nation, LIKE DISGRACE, which was also under that category), then read it based on the context (hitler, world war 1, jew discrimination etc.) and sort-of valued it. truth be told, i like how it's written and like disgrace, the context is subtle instead of it being all blown up. if you get past a third of the novel it's a lot more enjoyable from then on. yeah.

OKAY, RAMBLING, BYE.

lovelovelovelove:

Inspiration:

---

it came folded in a note:

"hi, i love you so much, please don't leave forever, i promise to always stay with you. i just don't know what to do without you because you're like the strings that piece and hold my heart together. i desperately want to hug you close and tight and never let you go no matter how much you say you'll stay because there's this pang in my gut that tells me you're going to disappear forever and i would never want that,

so please don't go.

from,
the person who loves you dearly,
the person who's always there when you cry,
the person who believes in you even when the world doesn't
--the person who would never let you go"

the simplicity of love is magnificent. woooooo, haven't written in a long time.

SO WHAT DO YOU GOT TO LOSE?

Stuff:

to be fair, the things aren't expensive. they only are because our currency ain't comparable to theirs. IF YOU THINK ABOUT IT, PART-TIMING IN EUROPE'S ABOUT 10-12/HOUR? so in a day i'll be able to get any item here (maybe not the navy cardigan). plus, all the items sort of match so it's not like i'm buying just cos' one item is nice (i was, till i figured out they match so yeah).
